Welcome to PawSafe. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of pawsafe.live, our QR pet tags, and our pet profile service (together, the "Service"). By placing an order or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Who we are

The Service is operated by PawSafe ("PawSafe", "we", "us", or "our"). You can reach us at support@pawsafe.live.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to place an order. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials and the information on your pet's profile accurate and up to date.

3. Orders, pricing & payment

• All prices are shown in U.S. dollars and may change without notice. Taxes and shipping are calculated at checkout.
• Payment is processed securely through Shopify. We don't store your full payment card details on our servers.
• We may cancel or refuse any order for reasons including pricing errors, suspected fraud, or product unavailability. If we cancel, we'll refund any amount charged.
• Promotional codes (e.g. WELCOME10) are single-use per customer unless stated otherwise and cannot be combined with other offers.

4. Shipping & delivery

Orders typically ship within 24 business hours. Estimated delivery times are provided as a courtesy and aren't guaranteed. Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier accepts the package. If your order arrives damaged or never arrives, email us within 14 days and we'll make it right.

6. The QR tag service

• The PawSafe tag links to a profile page you control. When someone scans the tag, they see the information you've chosen to make visible.
• You're responsible for the accuracy of the contact and medical information on the profile. PawSafe doesn't guarantee that a lost pet will be found or returned — the tag is a tool to help, not a tracking device.
• We may temporarily suspend or modify the Service for maintenance, security, or legal reasons. We'll do our best to give notice when we can.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for anything illegal or harmful.
• Upload content that is false, misleading, infringing, abusive, or that exposes someone else's personal information without consent.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.

8. Intellectual property

The PawSafe name, logo, website, photos, and copy are owned by PawSafe and protected by intellectual property laws. You keep ownership of the content you upload to your pet's profile and grant us a limited license to host and display it as part of the Service.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any lost pet will be recovered.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PawSafe and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of a pet, loss of profits, or loss of data, arising out of or related to the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the product giving rise to the claim.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when the latest version took effect. Material changes will be communicated through the website or by email when reasonable.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
